What’s Up at Berkley Riverfront

You might be wondering what there is to do at Berkley Riverfront until this fabulous development is completed!  Plenty, we say!  Riverfront Fitness classes are ongoing and are held on Wednesday evenings and feature everything from yoga, to team fitness, to family game night.

Summer features a host of festivals and experiences, like the recent KC Nanobrew Festival and KC Riverfest.  Play at the Park, hosted by Friends of the River, is on August 20.

Are you a dog person?  Then you likely already know about Bar K Dog Bar, a unique community meeting place for people and dogs in Kansas City.

If volleyball is your thing, we’ve got that covered, too!  Berkley Riverfront features six sand volleyball courts on the eastern edge of the park near the Kit Bond Bridge. Port KC teamed up with KC Crew to build the courts to meet demand for more recreational space near downtown Kansas City. The courts are available to the public and for special events when not in use by KC Crew’s volleyball leagues.

Visit our Things to Do page for some more sites at the park that you can visit year round- the Town of Kansas Bridge, the ASB kiosks and the Riverfront Heritage Trail.

Your City.  Your River.  Your Park.
